Hi da90027. As for Natalie Wood, she was damn lucky to get "West Side Story." I couldn't tell where this was on the lot immediately, but then I noticed the different rooftops and was able to match them up. A widow, she lives with her eldest child Alan and her daughter Marianne.She is a professional woman who hosts very civilized dinner parties, but behind closed doors she behaves with favouritism towards her son and consistently taking his side over Marianne, towards whom she can be cold and aloof.Lorraine is Connell’s mother. Was this review helpful to you? I saw the movie as a teen-ager when it first came out. Eventually, they get to know each another and fall in love. In fact the only one that didn't bore me was Ruth Gordon but I was teetering on that one too. Sometimes bad is good.
