how to measure holes for tufted headboard

We have a great statement piece of furniture and enjoyed the time partaking in the project together. Guide the button deep into the hole with your fingers while pulling the thread taut in the back. After you have traced, re-measure making sure your measurements all line up. I was thinking of slip covering it, but after seeing your new headboard I may just try my hand at making a whole new one for us. I had a sheet of plywood for it leftover from a remodel, until my husband used it on the ground to get his truck out of the backyard mud... sigh.It looks AWESOME, Sarah! Take a look at my room...I even put a link to your tutorial on my blog!
I've been researching for awhile as well and your tutorial is great. I "found" a piece of plywood, framed, in brand new condition out for trash pick-up in a very nice neighborhood. And now it sounds fairly easy. I can't wait to see your daughter's room!
